HOW TEACHERS CAN USE THESE LETTER T ACTIVITIES FOR INSTRUCTION:
I recommend making this project in small groups. Students will complete the work prior to gluing the pages into their book. If you don’t have paper lunch bags, you can use them in interactive notebooks or in books made of construction paper. Each activity can be used in a lesson, so the book is made over several days. Teachers can assign the book for homework, have students use it as an intervention activity to be done with an instructional assistant, or have them make it with parent volunteers.

HOW THE LETTER T ACTIVITIES ARE ORGANIZED:
The project includes the following pages. Students will complete them and then cut them out to glue into their paper bag book or interactive notebook. Pages are 5 1/2 inches square.

  • Book Cover
  • Writing Uppercase T following the anchor chart provided.
  • Writing Lowercase T following the anchor chart provided
  • Sorting Upper and Lowercase T Fonts
  • Sorting pictures that start with letter T.
  • Drawing pictures of words that start with letter T letters
  • Drawing pictures of words that start with letter T

The final book is 8 pages in length and will take a week to complete. It requires 2 paper lunch bags for each student to create. Great to send home for review too.
