A strong understanding of phonics is important for early readers. This Phoneme Intervention Book provides students with reference for spelling patterns, keywords and phoneme images that they can use for writing and decoding. Plus, anchor charts can be used for teachers instruction.

HOW CAN TEACHERS USE THIS PHONEME INTERVENTION BOOK?

The printable phoneme intervention book is for students to use as reference when they are writing or as they’re reading if they get stuck on a word. Teachers can use it with lessons along with the projectable phoneme anchor charts. I suggest modeling and brainstorming related words.

The book is mostly black and white to save on ink with exception of the book cover. The book can be printed front/back to reduce paper usage and bound using a comb binding machine if available.

Included on each poster/page are the phonics pattern, a key word, and an example word that follows the pattern.
