This comprehension focused bundle includes materials for Henry and Mudge and the Best Day of All, Henry and Mudge and the Wild Wind, Henry and Mudge in Puddle Trouble, and Henry and Mudge and the Starry Night. You can use the activities in guided reading, as mentor text lessons, with paired reading experiences, or for literature circles. If you’re teaching another Henry and Mudge title in your basal series, many of these activities would work well for extension too.
The unit includes 20 or so pages of activities for each titles. You can pick and choose the parts you want to use and the order. However, my units are organized in a before, during, and after format. I typically project the part of the lesson I’m using to demonstrate my expectation and assign the pages for independent work.
