Need a click and go reading lessons for your next tutoring session? These beginning reader audio books and activities make great tutoring lessons. Each set includes an 8-10 page original audio book, comprehension activities including drag and drop questions, sequencing events, and extended responses, and a phonics lesson. HOW THE BEGINNING READER AUDIO BOOKS AND ACTIVITIES WORK FOR TUTORING LESSONS:

Each set of activities take about an hour to complete. Students read the book with or without audio followed by the comprehension activities. I recommend that tutors work on decoding strategies and sight word recognition, reading in phrases, making and confirming predictions, story elements, etc. as the student reads.

4) The activities are perfect for guiding group discussion, for paired work if you are able to have students work together, for independent practice, or as an assessment tool to check understanding.

5) You can differentiate and assign some activities to one student and other activities to another student within your class with the paid account (recommended), and you can collect data based on performance.
