Journal writing is wonderful for students, and this set of summer writing prompts will keep your students thinking and creating! This product contains 10 writing prompts (one for each week of vacation) to keep your students’ creative juices flowing.
Students are provided with two pages per prompt and the packet ends with a summer reading list that the student can use to record the books they’ve read. Teachers can tie these prompts to literacy units in summer school or offer a book list parents might use with the prompts.
When these were originally created, I used them with my Summer Poetry Bundle and with themed literature. The students loved them.
