Description
Looking for an engaging way to teach Sammy the Seal? Syd Hoff’s story is sure to entertain your 1st or 2nd grade students! In this PRINT and GO bundle, comprehension is the focus. The activities are perfect for skill modeling, guided reading, or literature circles. Best of all, this bundle follows a before, during, and after format and is Common Core aligned.
I love that Syd Hoff’s books for several reasons. They include many sightwords and words with vowel patterns that my students have learned. His books allow for many teaching options and are true classics, and the stories are relatable for children.
