HOW TEACHERS CAN BEST USE THESE READING ANCHOR CHARTS:

You can print them onto any color paper you desire, project the colored option, share with parents, or print for students’ interactive notebooks. You can project the color anchor charts using TPT’s EASEL program or Google Slides TM to emphasize important teaching points, and provide the students with a printed anchor charts for reference during and after reading in their interactive notebooks as reminders. This resource is ideal for students in grades 2-5 due to reading level, and I suggest using these with my comprehension checks for any text.

  • To serve as a reminder for reading procedures.
  • To assess student understanding by having them create their own versions of the chart.
  • To serve as a visual representation for a class discussion.
