Description
This New Years lapbook will help your students reflect on their achievements during the past year and identify areas for improvement in order to set goals for the coming year. You can use it at the beginning of the year or in January.
HOW THE NEW YEARS LAPBOOK PROJECT WORKS:
Students use planning pages that are included to think about ways to help at home, in the community, and how to be a better friend, reflect on the past year, and outline their goals. During the creation of this project, teachers might conference with the student in order to work together to help the student achieve them too.
If you’d like to see how the project will look, be sure to check out the photographs of a completed project in the preview section.
HOW TEACHERS CAN USE THIS NEW YEARS LAPBOOK:
Teachers can use the New Years Lapbook as a way to review classroom norms and reset expectations for the year. After the holiday break, sometimes gentle reminders help kids to reboot.
