The unit works well if you want to use the book as a mentor text, in guided reading groups, for book clubs, with paired readers, or digitally for work stations. Teachers can pick and choose from the activities and easily spend a week
The unit includes 40 pages of activities (20 in each format). You can pick and choose the parts you want to use and the order. However, my units are organized in a before, during, and after format. I typically project the part of the lesson I’m using to demonstrate my expectation and assign either the digital or print version for completion.
