Description
Partner scripts are the perfect blend of fluency work and comprehension (Close Reading strategies).This Virginia studies partner play script set for two voices targets Virginia Studies through highlighting many of the tourism sites in our state. The reading level of the two parts should work for most fourth and fifth grade students (the target audience). It is intended to help readers develop fluency as they practice reading it together. It is written with a parent and child as the characters. The Virginia studies partner play set includes a vocabulary page with specific words chosen for teaching, questioning task cards, a question and response page for notetaking, and an extended response page (writing prompt).
