Kicking Up Summer Fun with my Pick 3 Picks

I'm joining up with Pawsitively Teaching and Inspired Owl's Corner to share three Pinterest picks for June, and since it's June, my brain is thinking..."Woohoo...Sun, Fun, and Time at the Beach". This month, I am choosing three pins of things I am looking forward to making and doing.  I hope they give you a few ideas too.

I love taking pictures, and once upon a time, I loved to scrapbook.  Alas, that thing called work got in the way, so  now fast forward 7-8 years, and I have a ton to organize.  Even so, I just love going through them and reflecting on the good times had when the photos were taken.  In 2010, my family traveled to Holden Beach with my sister's family and our parents. It was the last family trip with my dad, and this summer, we will be meeting up there once again.  I want to capture a special family photo of us all, and these pins give me a little inspiration.

Don't you just love these?  Imagine how beautiful they'd be framed and displayed.  I hope ours turn out as nice.

This summer, our kitchen is getting a mini face lift.  When we moved in, we were happy to see nice cabinetry and stainless appliances, but there were a few things forgotten...such as a backsplash. That's pretty important, so we're getting a few finishing touches done...countertop, backsplash and paint.  It will make a huge difference I think, so these pins are a few inspirational ideas I like.

What projects are you tackling this summer??  It's a great time to paint too.  I get wild hairs to make change.  I think my husband should be afraid. :-)

The last set of pins I picked are recipes I'd like to try.  We're going to have a summer block party with appetizers at each house.  I love the looks of these.
