Getting Pinspired for a Crafty Teacher Hop

Welcome to Comprehension Connection!  I'm Carla, and I've been pinspired by this adorable No Name Board.  As a teacher, that drives me crazy.  I've gotten fairly proficient in deciphering whose handwriting matches what and who the frequent No Name offenders are, but this No Name board will help take the problem from the teacher and may provide extra incentive to check the names first.

The first step with any craft project is to gather the supplies.  I tried getting the chalkboard at the Dollar Tree, but sadly, non were available.  I also gathered up Washi Tape, my hot glue gun, twine, stickers, and clothes pins.  Here is what the chalkboard looked like after the Washi Tape boarder.

Once the frame was covered, I pulled out the twine and hot glue to make the outside cute. With the giveaway version, I used t-shirt appliques to dress it up.  They are hot-glued on, so if something pops off in shipment, you would be able to repair it easily.

After the twine is added, it is time to add the ribbon to hang it up.  I hot glued an end to each corner for the fabric to come together and form a bow for hanging.

Once the sides and ribbon are covered, The last step is to add the clothes pins to the bottom.  I also added jungle animal stickers to my chart to embellish it a bit more.

Here are the two finished products.  The Animal Print No Name board on the left will hang in my classroom, and the winner of the Rafflecopter below will receive the colorful floral version in the picture on the right.

The winner must be a classroom or homeschool teacher and must live in the contiguous US (because of shipping). I will be in contact if you are the winner and you will have 5 days to respond to give mailing instructions or an alternate winner will be chosen

Thanks for dropping by for our Pinspired hop, and have a great year! Now, head over to check out what Emily has in store for you at Curious Firsties!

    1. Kelly-Thanks for letting me know. I thought I'd entered a few product pins I wanted repinned, but apparently, I don't know how to set that up in Rafflecopter yet. Oh well. I changed it to other options instead. Maybe by the next hop I'll figure that out. LOL!
